The
Frank Lloyd Wright Boulder Bookends Pair is a replica of the
statues that are perched upon piers flanking the entry to
the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, in Oak Park,
Illinois, (1898). Wright collaborated with Richard Bock, to
create the sculpture, which symbolizes the struggle of the
oppressed and shackled soul to break its bond, and find
self-expression.
A reproduction of the original sculpture designed by
Frank LLoyd Wright and executed by Richard Bock. |
