Style/Object Description |
The final design executed by Bock combined ideas from both architect and sculptor. Named after the Alfred Lord Tennyson poem, which is also shown on the back, the sculpture symbolically represents the human attempt to understand nature and the universe. Wright was so taken by the piece that he commissioned a second version to be placed at his Taliesin estate in Spring Green, Wisconsin. |
