Connecting with the Community

Community outreach is important for me because I value connecting with the community, generating interest in the community about design as well as STEM education, and educating the community. I am passionate in connecting with the community and giving back whatever I can. Oklahoma State University is a land-grant university and being so, one of its core missions is to serve the community.

High school and Middle school

We have hosted both High School and Middle School students and talked to them about how to use different technologies. Currently we do not have sufficient funding to travel to schools, but this is one option that we are exploring. In the past we have had several workshops focused on working with the general public. These workshops took place in the RIATA Centers Downtown location.
